Protection when disaster strikes.

A financial safety net when the unthinkable happens.

What is Disaster Protection?

Disaster Protection is a supplemental insurance policy that provides a financial safety net when disaster strikes, designed to help with large scale disasters like Hurricanes or smaller, more personal disasters like a kitchen fire.

Disaster Recovery Plan

With mortgage protection, your finances are safegaurded in the event of a disaster.

Monthly Mortgage Payment

Pays the monthly mortgage payment, up to a max of 24 months, while the customer is temporarily displaced and reconstructing or repairing their home.

Deductible Reimbursement

Reimburses the primary property insurance policy deductible up to a $1000 maximum a year (up to two occurrences). Requires temporary displacement for a minimum of 48 hours.

Loan Balance Payoff

Pays off the customer’s remaining mortgage balance, if the customer is permanently displaced. Permanent displacement requires that the land has been condemned and not fit for reconstruction.

Optional: Emergency Cash

Pays a monthly lump sum emergency cash benefit of $500 or $1000, for up to a max of 24 months, while the customer is temporarily displaced.

Disaster Protection Plan

For those who don't have a mortgage to protect, but still want to have emergency protection.

Emergency Cash Benefit

Pays a three month emergency cash benefit per occurrence (limit is selected by customer at time of enrollment; $500 or $1000 per month for up to three months when the customer is displaced for a minimum of 48 hours).

Deductible Reimbursement

Reimburses the primary property insurance policy deductible up to $500, twice a year. Damage may be to the structure of the home or to the contents. No displacement needs to occur for the customer to receive the Deductible Reimbursement benefit.

Lock Out Benefit

Reimbursement of up to $50 for those times when you need a locksmith to help you get back into your home. This benefit is available for up to two occurrences within any consecutive 12 months.
